冬休み（ALT イーガン・ローラ）

Hello! My name is Laura Egan, and I’m theALT at Mizunashi Elementary School. I went home to America for this wintervacation, from 12/22 – 1/6.

こんにちは！水梨小学校のALTのローラです。この冬休みにアメリカに帰りました！旅行は12月22日から1月6日まででした。

First I visited my dad’s side of the familyin Wisconsin. It’s been four years since the last time I saw them!

まず、ウィスコンシン州に行って、いとこ達とクリスマスを過ごしました。４年ぶりに会いました！

After that I went back to my hometown inPennsylvania, and spent time with my family and friends. Unlike in Japan, inAmerica, most people spend Christmas with their families, and New Years withtheir friends. During winter vacation, I went to several parties, went skiing,and decorated a gingerbread house! I had a lot of fun.

その後、ペンシルベニア州の実家に帰って、家族と友達と冬休みを過ごしました。日本の習慣と反対で、アメリカではクリスマスは家族と過ごす時間で、お正月は友達と過ごす時間です。冬休みの間に、たくさんのパーティーに行ったり、スキーに行ったり、ジンジャーブレッドハウスを飾ったりしました。とても楽しい冬休みでした。
